Judy Sessions came to St. Alban’s in 2000 as Associate Rector. Judy grew up in Tulsa, OK and graduated from The Colorado College, Colorado Springs in 1966 with a BA in Political Science. She served as a teacher of English as a Second Language in the Peace Corps in Tunisia from 1966-69. After years of spiritual searching, Judy was confirmed in the Episcopal Church in 1981. She served as parish secretary and lay pastoral assistant at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Tulsa until becoming a postulant for priesthood and attending The Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest in Austin from 1989-91, graduating with a Master of Divinity degree. Ordained as a priest in 1992, Judy did post-graduate work at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA until called to serve as assistant/Associate Rector at Grace St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Tucson, AZ from 1994-1998. She then served as Priest Associate at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in LaUnion, NM until she was called to St. Alban’s.
